Privately printed in 1929 by Charles Sterling Underhill. Map endpapers covering region of the region of the Army of the Potomac from the Fall of 1862 to 1865. The map scale says 15 miles to 1 inch, however a laid in note at front of book gives the correct scale which is 28 miles to 1 inch. Pastedown with title and author to front cover and spine. Numerous leaves throughout book uncut. Bottom and fore-edge untrimmed. Contains several black and white illustrations throughout book. Dust jacket shows some bleedthrough from book covers. Tideline to back of DJ. Minor staining to front of DJa nd minor rubbing to spine. Book itself has one corner nudged, and a couple creases at top of spine. Some stainning to edges of endpapers.
